Emmerdale's Rose Jackson was finally caught out on Monday night amid her dark schemes.
Rose, the estranged ex-wife of Will Taylor and mother to Dawn Taylor, arrived in the village earlier this year. It quickly emerged that she was conspiring with Ruby Fox-Milligan to bring down Will's new wife, Kim Tate.
Last week saw Ruby pressuring Rose to execute their wicked plan, leading to a meeting with a dealer who provided a vial of tranquilliser on the village outskirts.
As Rose reconnected with her estranged daughter Dawn, it became apparent she was having second thoughts about her malicious plan to sabotage Will's marriage to Kim by spiking his drink. Despite her internal conflict, she proceeded with the plan.

Rose aimed to target her ex-husband Will by lacing his drink with the tranquilliser, but in classic soap opera fashion, just as she served him a drink, Dawn and Kim returned home with more drinks. In the ensuing confusion, Rose lost track of which drink was spiked, reports the Mirror.
Initially, it seemed that Will had consumed the spiked beverage as he suddenly felt unwell, but after a nap, he felt better. However, the true victim was later revealed to be Dawn, following a terrifying car crash in which Ella Forster was also injured.
Dawn, who has battled drug addiction in the past, assured her family she hadn't relapsed and voiced her suspicion that she had been drugged.
Dawn, back at Home Farm, held a family gathering wherein she confessed that the only drink she'd taken had been spiked. Turning to her family, she suggested, "It had to be someone in here that did it..." As suspicion fell on Rose, she quickly pointed blame at Kim, suggesting she was meant to spike her but Dawn had inadvertently drunk the spiked drink.
Kim defended herself highlighting it was undeniably Rose behind all this mischief, but Dawn's loyalties strayed towards her estranged mother, recalling Kim's previous misadventures, including spiking Dawn years ago. The tension sky-rocketed as Thursday's episode concluded with leave-taking of unresolved disputes and Kim's kith and kin siding with Rose.
On Friday, Kim succeeded in convincing certain family members that she was not responsible for the drink spiking. However, Rose, up to no good, orchestrated a meeting with her dealer at Home Farm, where he claimed Kim had purchased narcotics from him and was in debt.
Flatly denying having ever met the man, Kim maintained that she was being framed. However, the accusations sounded plausible to Dawn who announced her departure from Home Farm with her family.
In response, Kim vacated Home Farm allowing Dawn and her unwell son Evan to stay during his hospital appointments.
In a gripping turn of events on Friday's Emmerdale, Kim Tate was left stunned as she caught Rose handing over cash to a dodgy dealer. The plot thickened in Monday's episode when a smug Rose thought her scheme had worked perfectly at Home Farm.
Unbeknownst to her, Lydia Dingle was onto her; while cleaning, Lydia cleverly recorded an incriminating phone call Rose made using Evan's baby monitor.
Lydia wasted no time informing Kim, but Kim's playing the long game she's desperate to uncover who's orchestrating this elaborate plot against her. Emmerdale fans have been all over Twitter with their theories, with some suggesting that Kim's presumed-dead son Jamie Tate might be pulling the strings.
One viewer tweeted: "#Emmerdale just a thought is Rose working for Jamie", another pondered: "#Emmerdale I wonder if Rose is working with Jamie Tate", and yet another mused: "#Emmerdale Not entirely sure what Rose and Ruby wants to do. We've already had the drugging of Kim storyline in home farm when it was Jamie Tate..." Some are even predicting a revenge angle, with tweets like: "Am seriously hoping that #KimAndWill are double-bluffing in @emmerdale #Rose #Emmerdale" and suggestions for Kim to set up CCTV: "#emmerdale set up the CCTV again, Kim! That will catch Rose in the act with her feet up like Lady of the Manor, plotting with Ruby! ".
